From time to time the forum machinery needs to change, for a variety of reasons. This is the new site & format - stop back from time to time, and feel free to post comments on history or current events in the Quiambaug/Mistuxet Valley.
You have to register (pretty much entirely to cut down on spam), then you'll see a button to the right, in the blue bar, labelled "new thread", which you may use to start a new thread. Or, of course, you can reply to an existing message.

It will be more active; had trouble with spammers attacking different message board mechanisms. I hope this avoids that.

Hello,
Where would I find the birth and death records of the Palmer line that had land on Mistuxet Avenue? I have a relative, Bertha Palmer (daughter of Walter Palmer...can't find this branch either) who married Joseph Zeller (they lived in the Borough). One of their children, Hope Zeller, was given land by a "relative" Nathaniel Palmer....but don't know how he was related to Hope. I believe the Mill was owned originally by Nathaniel as well. Nathaniel also owned 2 homes across each other walking distance on the road where Hope had her daughter Alice Farnell and then Alice had her daughter across the street, Wanda Dimmock. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, Siobhan Gramberg
